Catch-all Emails
Do you need to make a catch-all email account? What is a catch-all mailbox?
A catch-all mailbox is one that captures all the messages sent to nonexistent email addresses. For example, if your address is info@domain.com, but somebody misspells it and sends a message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Only one single mailbox per domain can have this feature activated and thus you’ll never miss messages because the other side has an out-of-date email address or has made a mistake. The downside of setting up a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving lots of spam emails, but this issue can be solved using an anti-spam filtering solution. It’s also important to bear in mind that a mailbox with an activated catch-all functionality cannot redirect incoming email messages to a third-party email address.

Catch-all Emails in Web Hosting
Configuring a catch-all mailbox will be astonishingly easy in case you’ve got a Linux web hosting with us. You can enable this option through our powerful, albeit intuitive Email Manager tool, which is included in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will administer the shared web hosting account itself. You will see all the mailboxes that you have set up listed alphabetically and to the right of each of them there will be a mini "Catch-all" icon, which will instantly inform you whether a certain mailbox receives all the email messages for a certain domain or not. With a single click on the icon you can activate or deactivate this feature whenever you want. In case there’s activated email forwarding or in case some other mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a particular domain name, you will get a warning notice from our system. The latter won’t deactivate/replace anything automatically or without your consent.
- Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
The custom-created Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each and every semi-dedicated server plan that we’re offering will allow you to set up a catch-all mailbox effortlessly even if you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each email address that you’ve set up using your domain names in the Email Manager section of the hosting Control Panel. Since you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain, our system will inform you if you’ve already created a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding activated. In case you reach the decision that you don’t want this feature any longer, you can remove it by clicking again on the very same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance. - Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
